Sustainability

Fridal considers the safety of personnel, clients and assets is a prime and most important factor in conducting our business. In this matter, Fridal has adopted a range of procedures to ensure full compliance with international safety regulations. Fridal was certified as OHSAS 18001 and recently awarded ISO 45001 which allows Fridal organisations to focus on managing occupational health and safety.

As we’re committed to being one of the most socially responsible and sustainable companies in Egypt, Fridal’s employees, brands, and operations work together to make that difference evident.

Some of Fridal farms are located in remote areas where locals of these areas are employed, trained and supported. They are trained on new agriculture technology, renewable energy, water treatment, and maintenance activities which allow their society to benefit from their gained skills and experiences.

Fridal also ensures the ethical behavior of its employees and their activities so that an individual benefits the whole society.
Fridal also provides full medical insurance to all the employees and full accommodation, social activities and recreation facilities in these remote areas.

At Fridal we believe that women bring alternative viewpoints and experiences to our business which often fosters creativity and change.

Yet the women's careers in the industry may be challenging from some point of view, we believe that the presence of women in our industry is a main point of our success, as women possess qualities which make them energetic and more focused on multi-tasks jobs.
Fridal female employees are more than 30% of the total employees giving sustainable growth and development to our organization.

As we’re committed to being one of the most socially responsible and sustainable companies in Egypt, Fridal is committed to improve the environment by “going green”, by installing 38 solar power plants to produce water from the wells and operates most of its facilities.
